Aston, Manager of 3 Liquid Alts Funds, Hits $15 Billion in Assets

aston funds hits $15 billionAston Asset Management has seen strong growth over the past five years, growing from $3 billion in assets as of December 2008 to more than $15 billion in September 2013. While much of this growth has occurred in their traditional equity products, the firm has been focused over recent years on growing their assets in liquid alternative products and expanding their fund lineup in this category. The firm currently offers three liquid alternative funds, as follows:

As with all strategies offered by Aston, all three of the above funds are managed by seasoned sub-advisors. The Anchor Capital Fund and the River Road Fund both fall into the Morningstar long/short category, and both have outperformed the category average since inception. The Lake Partners Fund appropriately falls into the multi-alternative category and has also outperformed its peer group since inception.
