Garrett Baldwin is an economist, financial writer, and executive consultant. He is an editor at DailyAlts and the author of the DailyAlts Playbook.
That experience has accompanied an extended history of financial analysis, journalism, public relations and consulting experience in hedge funds, private equity, blockchain, housing policy, supply chains, and public equity coverage.
On the economic and financial research side, he specializes in alternative strategies with an emphasis on momentum and PE replication.
He has 15 years of senior leadership experience in editorial operations; economic research; financial, energy, and political copywriting. He also has worked in competitive intelligence; political risk consulting, business development, and global trade and agribusiness analysis.
Finally, Garrett Baldwin graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, he obtained an MA in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University, an MS in Trade Economics from Purdue University, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana’s Kelley Business School.
In addition, he received a certificate in Global Business from Harvard Business School in 2019.
