Artificial Intelligence: Smart Cyber Lawnmower Is Crowdfunding
The Lawna robotic lawn mower comes with visual AI and a humidity sensor.
Kickstarter features a crowdfunding campaign for Lawna, a robotic lawn mower that uses visual AI to map out its virtual mowing territory, and does away with the perimeter wire. The futuristic lawn mower is every bit as smart as it looks, and is operable with a smartphone app. (NOTEBOOKCHECK)
Lawna
- An integrated humidity sensor allows Lawna to detect rain, stop mowing and return to its dock
- Uses the map to optimize its route and can handle multiple zones
- The robot also uses its vision and ultrasonic technology to detect and avoid obstacles
- The mower is designed to regularly cut a small amount off the top of the grass; this falls to the soil, acting as a fertilizer for your lawn, aiming to make it healthier overall
- You can use an accompanying app to adjust the height settings from 25 to 80 mm (~0.98 to 3.15-in)
- The robotic lawn mower has off-road tires and a brushless motor, allowing it to tackle inclines up to 30°
- A built-in humidity sensor can detect rain and return the Lawna to its dock so it does not damage the lawn
- The gadget is fully waterproof and will automatically return to the base to recharge as necessary
- You can track the robot with real-time GPS positioning
- The device has an anti-theft alarm system
Contribute US$699 to the Kickstarter campaign to book your Lawna for delivery in January 2023.
