The Buddy app is a budgeting tool designed for Gen Zers around the world. It has now partnered with Plaid, a provider of open finance services, to allow users to connect their financial accounts securely and track their spending.
Buddy is available in 175 countries and is popular among young adults in the US and Canada. The integration with Plaid’s open finance APIs will enable users to monitor their expenses and account balances from one place, helping them to better understand their spending habits and make informed financial decisions. This integration will also enable users to automate their savings, eliminating the need to manually enter their expenses.
Buddy’s founder and CEO, Olle Lind, believes that budgeting apps are becoming increasingly important for Gen Z and that by teaming up with Plaid, the app will help millions of users worldwide to budget and plan more easily.
