Artificial Intelligence: ProtectedBy.AI Launches AI-Powered, Code-Level Defense Against Cyberattacks

CodeLock is a patented defense that protects against an intruder already inside the “perimeter.”

AI-driven solutions provider ProtectedBy.AI announced today the launch of CodeLock, claimed to be the first and only solution that continuously monitors an organization’s software at the code level and eliminates malware threats completely. (CISION PRNewswire)

Defense against supply chain attacks

Codelock defends against insertion attacks that target the software supply chain – such as the SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI) attack.

CodeLock embeds a network of security sensors into the enterprise’s software. Furthermore, the CodeLock algorithm inserts specialized digital signatures at predetermined locations throughout the software code. The software is therefore divided into ‘silos’ of code that are sealed, signed and linked together – ensuring that every line of code is protected from malware or insertions.

However, CodeLock ensures that the organization’s developers can securely access their code through various identity verification systems such as tiered passwords, MFA, digital footprinting and biometrics.

At another level, CodeLock allows the organization to configure an Alert Monitor to serve as an early warning system that can send out warning emails, texts, and even pre-recorded calls to anyone in an organization’s chain of command, even non-tech personnel.

Barbarian “inside” the gates

“Malware, ransomware, and creative new forms of cyberattacks are becoming more common around the world,” said Brian Gallagher, president and co-founder of ProtectedBy.AI. “We’ve developed the only defense technology which automates the process of detecting an attack once it has gotten past your perimeter. CodeLock is being recognized as a critical component to keeping organizations cybersafe.”

Furthermore, senior leaders of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said, “CodeLock appears to have the capability to stop the most sophisticated criminal malware. With respect to [cyberattacks from] hostile nation-states, CodeLock would also be effective against all but a few.”
