Venture Capital: Humane Reveals More About Its AI-Enabled Consumer Device

The device, dubbed the Humane Ai Pin, is to be built in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies.

Humane, Inc. has announced the name of its first device, the Humane Ai Pin, which is set to be launched later this year. The Ai Pin is a standalone device that incorporates AI technology to offer unique personal computing experiences. This wearable device, which can be attached to clothing, utilizes various sensors to facilitate contextual and ambient interactions.

Some of these interactions were recently showcased in a TED Talk by Imran Chaudhri titled “The disappearing computer — and a world where you can take AI everywhere.” Humane has partnered with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) to develop this innovative device. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Technologies’ advanced Snapdragon platform, ensuring optimal performance.

Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, Co-Founders of Humane (pictured), said the device, had the potential to enable seamless, screenless, and sensing mobile computing experiences.

Executives at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. praised the revolutionary form factor and on-device AI capabilities of the Ai Pin, including its ability to provide personalized AI use cases by leveraging on-device AI and real-time contextual information.

Overall, the Ai Pin aims to revolutionize personal computing and bring AI everywhere.
