Artificial Intelligence: India’s Infosys Wins $1.5B Contract Including AI Solutions

Infosys did not reveal the name of the client, however.
Infosys (NSE: INFY), India’s second-largest software services exporter, recently announced a substantial $1.5 billion contract spanning 15 years with a prominent “global company.” In this partnership, Infosys will deliver advanced digital experiences and business operational services, capitalizing on their platforms and cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. However, Infosys has not disclosed the identity of this global company or whether it is an existing client.
Earlier this month, U.S. semiconductor manufacturer Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) unveiled AI collaborations with India’s Reliance Industries (NSE: RELIANCE) conglomerate and the Tata group’s Tata Consultancy Services (NSE: TCS), aiming to develop innovative applications. (TOI)
Furthermore, in July, Infosys inked a significant $2 billion agreement with an existing client, focusing on providing AI and automation services for a five-year duration.
Notably, Infosys’s stock showed a marginal increase of 0.4%, mitigating its year-to-date losses to just 0.1%, in contrast to the Nifty IT index’s substantial 15.46% surge.
