Venture Capital: Oxbotica, Maker Of Software For Universal Autonomy, Lands $140M
The company’s goal is to deploy its operating system (OS) for Universal Autonomy in multiple commercial and industrial domains around the world.
Oxbotica, the maker of software for Universal Autonomy, which is the ability of any vehicle, of any size, in any place to operate autonomously, safely and sustainably, has raised $140M in a Series C round.
Existing investors returning to this round include bp ventures, BGF, Halma, Hostplus, Kiko Ventures (IP Group), Ocado Group, Tencent, Venture Science and ZF, amongst other global companies. The investment round includes financial and strategic partners from North America, EMEA and APAC, including new investors such as Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd and ENEOS Innovation Partners. The round brings Oxbotica’s cumulative funding till date to approximately US$225 million.

The company will use the new round to expand its tech across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, focusing on the industries of mining, energy, goods delivery, shared passenger shuttle transportation, agriculture and airports.
