Artificial Intelligence: Philips And Sembly AI Offer High-Tech Instant Meeting Transcripts
The two companies introduce a brand-new speech technology solution for meetings.
Speech Processing Solutions, a Philips (AMS: PHIA) brand, and Sembly AI have joined up to launch a technology solution that enables instant searchable meeting transcripts, highlights key discussion moments, and creates summaries. The solution utilizes powerful microphones and smart meeting technology that together guarantee 360° recording, whilst capturing each speaker in the room and ensuring crisp, clear audio. One variant includes an intelligent camera that can be set to automatically recognize meeting participants individually and focus accordingly. (BusinessWire)
The new products will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand from June 1st, 2022.

“We provide best-in-class conference microphones and pair them up with a smart meeting assistant solution, which creates an automatic transcript, summary, and an action list of every meeting. Our unique solutions help busy professionals save time and conduct meetings more efficiently than ever before,” said Dr. Thomas Brauner, CEO of Speech Processing Solutions, in a statement.
Users can easily forward the meeting summaries, for example to colleagues who might have missed the meeting.
“No matter if you are working with Zoom, gMeet, Teams, or Webex, our smart meeting assistant joins your meetings as an attendant and does the note-taking for you” added Artem Koren, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Sembly AI.
