Venture Capital: Salesforce Ventures Adds $250M To Its Generative AI Fund
Salesforce Ventures is aiming to boost the development of generative AI to bridge the gap between consumers and enterprise.
Salesforce Ventures is increasing its Generative AI Fund from $250 million to $500 million in order to support the AI startup ecosystem and promote responsible generative AI development. The fund has also expanded its network of AI innovators by adding Humane and Tribble.
The goal is to collaborate with entrepreneurs who are accelerating the creation of transformative AI solutions for businesses. The Generative AI Fund has already invested in leading AI companies such as Hearth and You.com, and recently made additional investments in Anthropic and Cohere. (Salesforce)
Humane aims to bridge the gap between consumers and enterprise through AI capabilities, while Tribble is focused on using generative AI to enhance sales, marketing, and product team collaboration.
These partnerships reflect Salesforce’s commitment to innovation and reimagining customer engagement and enterprise operations.
