Supervest is running a crowdfunding seed campaign on SeedInvest.

Supervest calls it a new asset class. Merchant cash advances (MCA) are a form of short-term financing for merchants in the form of a sales agreement in which capital is exchanged for a proportion of future sales. Typically, an MCA is availed by small businesses or startups that need to receive a large amount of money quickly with minimal strings attached. Supervest is a platform where accredited investors and individuals can invest in the high-yielding MCA space. (CROWDFUND INSIDER)

How it works

“We connect high-quality investors who do not have access to this asset class with funding companies that need capital to continue to fund qualified merchants,” says Supervest.

“The ability to invest, participate, or syndicate in this area has been traditionally reserved for the merchant cash advance companies and ‘insiders’ of these companies.  We have leveraged our experience and knowledge of the industry with the power of our fully integrated platform to give our funding partners the ability to tap into a stream of  capital to fund qualified merchants.”

Advantages – direct participation

  • High yields
  • Short tenures of a few months only, not years
  • Daily or weekly turnaround of capital
  • Ability to redeploy this capital
  • Access to thousands of kinds of repayment streams of merchants in a wide variety of sectors
  • MCA’s were not in the public eye, even though they generated lucrative returns
  • MCA industry has grown by 20% annually over the past three years
