Do Kwon is the target of a global manhunt and the Interpol has a red notice out for him.

A person believed to be Do Kwon, the CEO of Terraform Labs, a cryptocurrency operator that went bankrupt, has been apprehended by authorities in Montenegro. The country’s Interior Minister, Filip Adzic, disclosed the news via a tweet on Thursday. (FT)

A translated version of the Minister’s tweet reads as follows: “Montenegrin police have detained a person suspected of being one of the most wanted fugitives, South Korean citizen Do Kwon, co-founder and CEO of Singapore-based Terraform Labs.”

He revealed that the individual was apprehended at the Podgorica airport with forged documents, and that confirmation of the individual’s identity is still pending.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a lawsuit against Kwon and Terraform, claiming that they unlawfully sold several unregistered digital assets, resulting in billions of dollars in losses.
