Artificial Intelligence: The Ella Baby Stroller Is AI-Enabled To Deliver A “Nanny-Like” Experience
The Ella pram is battery-powered and AI-enabled.
At the Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas, Vancouver based Glüxkind Technologies launched a battery-powered pram for babies that is able to push and rock itself using artificial intelligence. The so-called convertible Ella pram, which comes with a reversible seat, is said to deliver an almost “nanny-like” experience. (Dezeen.com)
If the parent wants to engage with the child while the pram is on the move, they can switch it to self-driving mode. The pram will continue to move but steer itself.
Glüxkind Technologies also enabled the pram for “white noise” and a rock-my-baby mode, the latter allowing the pram to simulate the “soothing” nature of manual rocking.
Even though fully loaded, the battery powered pram offers adaptive push and break resistance when going up- or downhill to make it easier for the parent or childminder to continue on their course.
Glüxkind Technologies was founded in 2020 by Anne Hunger and Kevin Huang upon the birth of their first child and drew inspiration from their hunt for the right pram.
Ella is their maiden product and reflects their mission to make “gear for today’s families safer, more inclusive and convenient for all”.
