Artificial Intelligence: Adobe Throws Open Firefly To Enterprise
Adobe Firefly comes with protection against copyright infringements.
Adobe has introduced a new solution called Adobe Firefly for Enterprise, which leverages its Firefly generative AI model to assist organizations in meeting the increasing demand for content creation in the workplace. The announcement was made at the Adobe Summit event.
With Adobe Firefly for Enterprise, every employee, regardless of their creative abilities, gains the ability to instantly generate images or copy based on text-based descriptions. These assets can then be utilized for various purposes such as marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and corporate presentations. (The Verge)
Users within enterprises can access Firefly through the standalone Firefly application, Adobe’s cloud-based design platform Creative Cloud, or Adobe Express. Moreover, companies have the option to train the AI model with their own branded assets, enabling Firefly to replicate the brand’s style while generating images and copy within official enterprise guidelines.
Adobe’s Firefly model already encompasses functionalities like text-to-image generation and instant editing features such as recoloring vector images. David Wadhwani, president of digital media business at Adobe, emphasizes the importance of driving efficiencies internally due to the expected five-fold increase in content demands over the next two years.
The new enterprise offering empowers users of any skill level to transform ideas into content using Firefly and leverage the capabilities of Express and Creative Cloud to quickly modify assets and deliver exceptional designs.
Further, Adobe offers financial indemnity for copyright challenges involving content made with these tools.
Firefly’s immense popularity, driven by its high-quality results, makes it an attractive choice for businesses seeking generative AI solutions. During the beta phase alone, Firefly beta users have generated over 200 million images since its launch in March 2023.
Additionally, Photoshop’s Firefly-powered Generative Fill feature facilitated the creation of over 150 million images within just two weeks. Adobe also recently introduced an Enterprise tier for Adobe Express, promoting collaboration among organizations.
