Private Equity, Venture Capital Investor Alan Patricof Bundles for Joe Biden
Former VP releases list of bundlers to promote transparency
Alan Patricof, the founder of Apax Partners, sits among a very powerful list of bundlers for potential Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Over the weekend, Biden released the list of bundlers, who will raise at least $25,000 on his campaign. Patricof is also the founder and managing director of Greycroft, which has $1 billion under management.

Meanwhile, Alan Patricof joins a number of prominent bundlers. The list also includes George Marcus, a billionaire real estate broker; short-seller Jim Chanos; and advisory CEO Michael Sacks.
Furthermore, the list also features a “Who’s Who” roster of Washington power and a wealth of former U.S. ambassadors. Names include:
- Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey;
- Delaware Sen. Chris Coons;
- Former White House chief of staff Erskine Bowles;
- Dorothy McAuliffe, wife of former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
- Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal;
- Denise Bauer, former U.S. Ambassador to Belgium;
- Anthony Gardner, former U.S. Ambassador to the European Union;
- Mark Gilbert, former U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand; and,
- Hollywood producer Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Finally, Biden released the list at a time that other candidates are debating over money in politics. Recently, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg also voluntarily released the names of his top bundlers.
