Artificial Intelligence: Coke Launches Futuristic Zero-Sugar Drink Created Using AI

“We challenged ourselves to explore the concept of what a Coke from the future might taste like—and what kind of experiences would a Coke from the future unlock?” – Coke, on Coca-Cola Y3000.

Coca‑Cola (NASDAQ: COKE) is venturing into the year 3000 with a futuristic flavor and an AI-powered experience. The company’s latest offering, Coca‑Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar, is the result of a unique collaboration between human and artificial intelligence. By tapping into fans’ emotions, aspirations, colors, and flavors, combined with insights from AI, Coca‑Cola has crafted a taste that envisions the future.

Oana Vlad, Senior Director, Global Strategy at The Coca‑Cola Company, explained that the beverage giant aimed to ensure Coca‑Cola remained relevant in the distant future. To achieve this, they explored what a Coke from the future might taste like and what experiences it might offer. The ‘Real Magic’ brand platform guided this endeavor, emphasizing unexpected connections between human intelligence and AI.

This limited-edition, zero-sugar drink will be available in select markets, including the United States, Canada, China, Europe, and Africa. In the United States, Canada, and Mexico, consumers can also enjoy an original taste version of Coca‑Cola® Y3000.

The drink’s visual identity matches its futuristic theme. Designed with the assistance of artificial intelligence, it features a morphing liquid in vibrant violet, magenta, and cyan colors against a silver backdrop. The Spencerian Script incorporates fluid dot clusters symbolizing future human connections.

Consumers can interact with the future through an on-pack QR code that grants access to the Coca‑Cola Creations Hub. Here, they can use the custom Y3000 AI Cam to visualize their current reality in a futuristic context. Additionally, a collaboration with AMBUSH® introduces a Y3000 Capsule Collection of apparel and accessories inspired by the future.

Coca‑Cola Creations continues to innovate, bringing limited-edition flavors, designs, and experiences that align with various consumer passions, from music to gaming. Coca‑Cola® Y3000 Zero Sugar joins a lineup of fantasy-flavored offerings, showcasing Coca‑Cola’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies and cultural trends for novel experiences.

This venture into AI underscores Coca‑Cola’s dedication to engaging both existing and new fans through innovative approaches.
